Quick Dry
Our Method
We specialize in a low moisture cleaning system, which aside from being more environmentally friendly, also allows carpets to dry in two hours or less. While conventional systems may use 1.5 gallons of water per minute, our low moisture system reduces this number to less than a gallon per minute.
Steam Cleaning vs. Low Moisture Cleaning
Steam cleaning is commonly referred to as hot water extraction and uses hot water mixed with a cleaning agent, which is then forced into the carpet fibers through large amounts of pressure. The dirt and debris is then extracted via a heavy duty vacuum. It is considered an aggressive form of carpet cleaning, can take up to 48 hours to dry, and should not be used for new or delicate carpeting.
Low moisture cleaning trumps steam cleaning in multiple ways, and is gaining traction both as professional carpet cleaners and end-users preferred choice. At Carpet Cleaning TC, we specialize in the low moisture cleaning system. A mixture of water and safe cleaning compounds are gently sprayed on to the carpet's surface area just enough to loosen the dirt, soil, and bacteria within the fibers. A rotating circular floor machine is used to spread the cleaning agent and work it adequately into the fibers, reaching all the way down to the carpet's base. The dirt is then removed via a gentle but effective brush, and any remaining debris is extracted through safe cleaning agents, and then vacuumed. Low moisture cleaning is an extremely effective, and gentle, way to clean any carpet. As a result of it's one to two hour dry time, it also prevents the growth of bacteria and mildew.
